As a member of the Briq Group, I participated in the design process for the new BCG headquarters in Carlsberg Byen, Copenhagen. This project involved renovating an old warehouse owned by Carlsberg. My role in the spatial team included designing meeting rooms, the foyer, and breakout spaces. The BCG project incorporates Danish classic design while also incorporating Japanese details in the furniture. The project has been successfully completed, and people are now actively working in the new space! The structure of the building has been kept and all the interior has been rebuilded by the 3XN Interior team. All the front of house programs, 150 rooms and all the cirlculation have been re-conceptualised. I have been involved in this project from the concept to the detail drawing phase, more than one year journey made with the 3XN interior department. Both the characteristic round shape and central Hagastaden location of Forskaren make the building a natural gathering point in the new district. Today, the company is groing and they will need a shop/Cafe for summer 2022. On this small and quick proposal, We have thought an open space with modular shelving where customer can shop during the day and seat for a drink in the evening. The main idea is to make customer feel they have a drink in the middle of a kitchen. The layout if completly open and customers are surrounded by wine bottles and in constant dialog with the owners. The perspectives to the water front is completry open so the customers can enjoy the views. The all project is made completly made out of Birch plywood for the furniture and painted MDF for the kitchen fronts. Colors of this project are the color signature of Roots Vinbar label.&nbsp; The all project as been done in 6 weeks. Stan is building speakers for years and delivering quality sound all over denmark. I have played few time on his self made soundsystem and I have been blowned away by the precise and crisp sound his work deliver. Lately Stan has sonorized audiophile bar and work on different Horn speakers models, always increasing the quality of his sound. I am very happy to collaborate with him on one design for his brand. We are working on a prototype for beggening of 2022. The piece is made from “open books” stacked on each other. The process started by studying the stability of the shelf by making various phisical model.
